What You Need to Know About Maxfli Golf Clubs

If you’re looking to purchase a new set of golf clubs, one product you should look into during your research is Maxfli golf clubs.  Owned by TaylorMade, their clubs utilize some of the best technology in the game and can also be had at an affordable price.  According to Maxfli, their golf clubs will help you “defeat your demons.”  Here are some things you should find as your research Maxfli golf clubs.

Their Irons

If you’re just looking for a set of irons, you should look no further than the Black Max line of irons.  This set uses a progressive cavity back system.  A cavity back golf club is one where the weight of the head is distributed around the perimeter, creating a larger sweet spot.  This allows for slightly more inaccuracy on your swing, because if you miss the very center of the club head, you still hit the sweet spot.  However, if you miss the sweet spot entirely, a cavity back golf club is more likely to send your ball in an unintended direction because the weight is distributed in areas where you don’t want to hit the ball.

The progressive cavity back system is one of the hallmark features of Maxfli golf clubs.  Irons 2-4 have a full cavity, 5-7 a semi cavity, and 8-sand wedge have a full back.  This means that when you’re swinging for distance, you will get a little more from your low irons but a severely bad swing will result in even worse trajectory on your shot.  When you’re swinging for accuracy you will get a little less distance but a severely bad swing will not result in the same kind of awful shot as the high irons.

Their Drivers

If you’re looking to replace your driver, Maxfli golf clubs offer three great models to choose from.  They offer the Black Max Pro, the D-Tec, and the Noodle-Ti-Alloy, partially named after one of the golf balls that Maxfli also offers.  All three models come with graphite shafts, a feature that makes the shaft lightweight and also allows a little bend on your follow-through.  This will create slightly more speed on the club head than your body gives it.  The Maxfli Pro is the odd one of the bunch, coming with three back-weight screws which causes the club to have a lower center of gravity.  It is also available at a 10.5 degree angle, making a slightly higher trajectory possible.

Their Putters

When people think of Maxfli golf clubs, they usually don’t immediately conjure up images of putters.  Maxfli putters come in three styles, Black Max, D-Tec, and Masters.  Black Max and D-Tec are flashy but for all their bells and whistles are not very effective.  Their weight distribution has been cited as a major flaw, making it difficult to become accustomed to the club.  If you’re looking for a very affordable, very classic putter, you may want to try the Masters brand.  Otherwise, putters are not the crown jewel of Maxfli golf clubs.
